The most popular AI on this site, Intermediate AI, generally looks one move ahead, while the higher-level AIs consider more than eight moves ahead to find the best move. Creating a strong Reversi AI was not easy, but by adopting mechanisms like 'bitboards' and 'WebAssembly,' the calculations were sped up by about 100 times, allowing for deeper lookaheads in a short amount of time.
In this AI match mode, over 2 million games have been played so far. The higher the AI level, the lower the percentage of players who can win against it. For example, in the hidden content ใ๐Legendary AIใ, which only about the top 3.5% of strong players can challenge, the win rate is only around 16%.
The reason I started creating this site was that I once had trouble finding a site where my family could play Reversi together.
